Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actor from the United States. Her most famous role is Skyler White in Breaking Bad, an AMC show Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 for Outstanding supporting actress in the Drama Series. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting in Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio during the latter part of 1970. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre at Northwestern University. Anna started her acting career with Chicago-area theaters for a couple of years. She then moved on to film and television. Anna was cast as Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. Anna continued appearing in films and television shows like Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others until late the 1990's. Then she was cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock played two full seasons on Deadwood that was shot during the middle 2000's. Skyler is her Breaking Bad role from 2008. Sully and Deadwood was another movie she starred in. Gunn played a role in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also appeared in a series of audio play podcast called Numbered Days. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's personal tale and the tension in the relationship he has with Skyler can be seen in the television show.
